HAPPY NEW YEAR
The Flinn family; Eugene, Alexandra, Katherine and Meredith wish everyone a happy New Year.
As Mayor of Palmetto Bay, I look forward to continuing to work with everyone to make our communities the best they can be! We are all working toward a happy, healthy and prosperous 2010.
Please see my commentary posted in the Miami Herald, Sunday, Jan 3, 2010, For new year, mayor strives to make village better (CLICK HERE to view article).
The
end of the year is usually a good time for us to reflect on the previous 12
months. Each of us can recall the successes and any disappointments we have experienced
throughout the year.
So
many events have taken place during 2009 that are for the benefit of our community
and enjoyed by so many that it is difficult to name them all. The village will
post a special year in review next week
www.palmettobay-fl.gov
a "2009 Year-in-Review" reviewing many photos/events from the
Village's annual Arbor Day, Earth Week events and Celebration Picnic to the end
of Mitigation to the new Village Hall ground breaking. Watch the web site for the posting.
To
those of you who have contributed in any way, a very sincere thank you. Please
accept my family’s sincere good wishes to everyone for peaceful, prosperous,
healthy and happy New Year.
